Ayers is at the Med Univ in Charleston Med School
Jim Taylor- Jim is a friend of one of our dear friends, Jim Jeffries. They discovered a spot on Jim's liver. He has already suffered with lymphoma in the past. Pray that Jim will continue to seek God's will in his life. Jim is a great servant of the Lord and pray that lives will be touched by his relying on the Holy Spirit.
Sandra's Brother-in-Law, Mark Harris - Was admitted to the hospital over the weekend with colon and intestine problems.
Andy's friends, the Clark Family - The Clark family has been struck with cancer in many forms (the Mom, the daughter-in-law who dies of cancer a few years ago, and now the granddaughter -5yrs old). No matter how many times life strikes them down they continue on constantly trusting in God. Pray that they will continue to have strength and the Lord's will will be done. The granddaughter Cassidy, has just been diagnosed with a strand of Leukemia that has only ever been reported two other times in the US. Cassidy will be undergoing aggressive chemo over the next couple weeks. Soon after she will receive a bone marrow transplant. Cassidy is going to begin her bone marrow transplant on Sunday (march 1st). Her sister Mckenzie is the donor!! Please be in prayer for these two young by strong sisters.
Andy's friends Rob and Risha Teal - Baylor Teal has had many test done and reports back show that Baylor has a tumor on his kidney, spots on his liver and a bone marrow was positive. It is for sure cancer and very aggressive. The doctors have said that he has probably had it only 4-6 weeks. As everyone is in shock and so very upset the family has asked for as many prayers as possible!
Susan and her family - Be in prayer for strength in the family. Susan is also bringing in a friend to live with her for a while. Pray that Susan will help to guide her friend in the right direction.
Susan and her daughter, Kara -Susan and Kara are headed to a women's confrence for the weekend. Pray that they will grow closer and keep thier hearts and mind open for God to continue to reviel himself.

Cindy Matthews - Her mother Elizabeth had a mass removed from her neck and is awaiting diagnosis.
Kathie Stephens - My dearest friend, Lou Maddox, who lives in Fountain Hills, AZ had surgery for ovarian cancer in June. She was just released from the hospital today. She has multiple problems and has had 2 chemo treatments since the surgery. Please pray for Lou that the good Lord will heal her. Take care.
Team Impact - Northside Baptist is hosting Team Impact this week. Pray for saftey and the presence of God will be felt during this great oppurtunity.
Nick - heading to Greenville for the weekend. Pray for saftey and great fellowship.
Tim Benson - Please remember Tim Benson in your prayers. Tim is dealing with blood clots and is having to take medicine to thin his blood. We all know the dangers of this type of medicine, so please keep him in your prayers.
Nick's Friend - Nick has a friend that is going through alcohol rehab. However, one his friend's friend has had a relapse making it hard on his friend to stay strong. We pray that God will be a stronghold for Nick's friend. We pray that she will realize that she is not doing this alone even if her friend quit.
Cynthia Pace Photography - Pray that we will continue to follow God's will no matter what obstacles are placed in our way. We always want to remember that we need to lean on God's strength, not our own.
Our Nation - May the Lord's hand be upon Obama and the other leaders as we make this transition in our nation's leadership. Pray that Christians will stand up for what is right. If the people do w hat is right and stand up for what they believe, then our nation will stand tall.
Journal of Prayers and Answers:
Cindy's Father-in-Law - Many of you know that we have traveled to Malta several times in the last year to visit my father-in-law. Louis passed away earlier this week. Louis was definitely ready and we are happy that God has eased his pain and taken him home. Pray that the family will use this time of togetherness to grow closer together as they mourn the loss of a love on.e Louis was a believer and was at peace.
Nick's Brother - Nick's brother in Colorado in search of a new job. Pray that he will seek the Lord's will and see the open doors no matter where God calls him. He now may be transferred, Houston is the opening we are praying for, but wherever the Lord may send him. Continuing to follow God's will and heeding to it, Nick's brother, Andrew, is staying in Colorado. Pray that he will stay focused on God.
Nick
- Nick is in the process of moving. God has already opened up some
great doors with the place he found. Pray that Nick will continue to
seek God's will throughout the process. Nick is moving a few days and everything turned out better than expected with the place he found.
Nick - has been praying that he would take it to heart and work more to cherish and use every opportunity God gives him. With this prayer, He has truthfully been able to use the time God has given to accomplish more.
The Pace family - Needs the building permit to being on the new house and eventually the new studio. Answer: They were able to get the building permit to begin work on their new house and future home of Cynthia Pace Photography.
Susan's Little Sister - Susan's little sister was hit by car this morning (9.30.08). We are waiting to hear more. Susan's sister was able to leave the hospital today with only a cracked tibia. Thank you for all your prayers.
Andy Teaching Sunday School on Sunday - Pray that God will give me the right words and wisdom to help touch everyone in the class.- Sunday school went phenomenal. I actually have to teach again this week and am so excited. Through prayer and devotion our Sunday school class is really taking off. I've also been asked to fill, and graciously accepted, the position of director of our Sunday School Class.
Sarah-Jane Pace - Sarah-Jane has an art show tonight and Saluda Shoals. Pray this will be an exciting time for her and the family. We hope she will be an inspiration to all those who meet her and see her work. Sarah-Jane had a great time at the show. She learned a lot from other artist as well has sold some of her work :-) . We are so excited for her.
Susan - Susan is spending some time this weekend with God. Pray that her heart and mind will be open and clear. Pray that this will be an amazing couple days for her as she grows closer to God. As with anytime you set aside for God he will speak to you. Sometimes even though it's not on the terms we plan for. Susan said that it was just an amazing time as she builds that intimate relationship with Christ.
Kelli Huffman (Andy's Friend) - Kellie Huffman’s father, Ed, was admitted to the VA Hospital with a
bleeding heart tonight (10.1.08).
(update 10.2.08)He is still very critical. Kellie has requested that we specifically pray that
a bed will open for him at one of the local heart hospitals here in Columbia,
they are currently full. They are sustaining her Dad at the VA until they can
transport him once an opening becomes available. She is very thankful and
appreciative of all of your prayers! Kelli just let me know today (10.15.08) that he father is home from the hospital and doing well. Her birthday is Friday and she said that she just wanted her dad to be well as her birthday present, and he is. Praise the Lord! (11.7.08) Ed was taken to Charleston with more complications. (11.9.08) Kellie’s father, Ed, had biopsy today in Charleston….NO SIGNS OF RENAL FAILURE! Doctors can’t explain
it, Kellie said he was in renal failure and now he is not….only explanation is
HE WAS TOUCHED BY THE GREAT PHYSICIAN. Kellie is very thankful for all the
prayers lifted on her father’s behalf. We celebrate with her in this good
news!!!!!
Clay Dixon: Clay's tumor has not grown any recently. Although it is still there, the Lord's hand is working with the doctors to begin the process of shrinking it.
Lori Mauldin - Harrison Mauldin was taken to the ER with 103 fever, diagnosed as viral. Lori is also now sick. Prayer for them both to heal and for Mark to stay healthy as he cares for them. From Lori on 10.16.08 - Thanks so much for the prayers. We are both doing better. I just had allergy and sinus stuff going on. Harrison had an upper respiratory infection last week and an ear infection. We thought that he was getting better and then last weekend he developed a fever. They just don't really know what caused it. He finally got a shot of antibiotics on Monday and has been getting better since. I think he was finally back to his old self today.
Andy's friend, Mary West - Mary was admitted to the hospital for high blood pressure after her OB appointment. Mary is pregnant and due December 7th Mary gave birth to David West. Everything is fine. Mary is now returning to church and regular activities.
Linda Lorick - Linda is going through minor surgery this morning to remove skin cancer cells. Please pray for the doctors and for Linda. We pray that the cancer will not be deep and easily removed. Everything went fine with the surgery, Linda is out and about as usual.
Andy's Friends, the Sharpe Family - Andy's friend's, Allison Sharpe, father past away a couple of days ago. Pray for the Sharpe family for a time of healing and uplifting. Pray this may be an opportunity to witness to others.
Nick's Friend - Nick's friend is being tested for leukemia. There was no leukemia found in the test. The doctors still are unsure of what is causing th ailments, but we praise God that it is not leukemia as first thought.
Andy's wife Friend, Kerri - Kerri is one of Shelley’s technician’s at work. She passed out last night and was taken to the emergency room. This morning they finally found a blood clot in her lungs and liquid around her kidney’s where they are not filtering like they should be. She is currently in the ICU. Kerri is home from the hospital. The clot in her lungs has been completely dissolved. The doctors are going to let the liquid evaporate.
Sandra's husband (Ken) - Ken has been having some health issues (high blood pressure and blurred vision). Pray that God will guide the doctors to help in these issues. Ken has been sleeping much better now.
Nick- Nick is moving into his new apartment on Saturday. Pray that everything go smoothly with the move and pray that Nick will always seek God's will as he begins this new stage in his life. Nick is officially moved and everything is going well
The Mauldin Family - We have been praying their son, Harrison, and he had his surgery Wednesday morning (2nd surgery
for his ears). Lori said that Harrison was a CHAMP and the surgery
is complete. Please pray for Harrison as he recovers. Pray for Lori as a mom, this has been a tough road for them to
this point. Pray for Mark as a dad, as he too has hurt for his son during all
of this. Harrison is doing much better. Continue to lift the entire family in your prayers.
Steve Sloop - as he struggles with the pains of cancer. He may need a liver transplant soon. Steve recently passed away. Continue to be in prayer for his family, that they may seek Christ for comfort.
Andy's wife, Shelley - Shelley has been sick all weak and today actually had to go home feeling extremely weak. Shelley is doing much better.
Susan - Susan has mono along with strep throat. Please be in prayer for her as she rest and prepares to come back to work. Susan is back and at full strength after being out for only a few days.
Nick's Brother- might be transferred again. Transfers have been placed on hold pending a better economy.
Sandra's Niece - She is being induced on the 25th and has been diagnosed with gestestational diabetes. The baby was born today (3.26.09) and everything went wonderfully.
Katie Arant & Family - Katie is a good friend of Andy's, her mom passed away Easter morning after a short 6mth battle with cancer. Connie Waterhouse was a great woman of God. Pray for strength for the family as they mourn and begin to reconcile. It truly is a moment of celebration for we know that Mrs. Waterhouse is in Heaven praising and worshiping like never before. Katie and her family have been so blessed by this time of mourning and celebration. Katie told me the other day how great it is to see God's plan revieling itself and everything working to His will.
Dee Dee Splittgerber - Hi, my dear friends!! I have a special prayer request - actually two!! My
younger, unmarried sister lost her management job last week due to
downsizing. I went to Greenville to visit with her Friday and she's
searching for a job but the market is very bleak right now. Also, my other
sister's husband is having his two "bad" kidneys removed next week. He had
a successful kidney transplant last October but has still been suffering
from the infected kidneys due to his polycystic kidney disease.

I
am truly a believer in the power of prayer – again!! At my last update, we
weren’t sure Dan was going to leave the hospital and it seemed like overnight,
he has made a complete turnaround!! By the time I got to Charleston

David Lorick - David is going in for a colonoscopy. All the test were ok.
Cindy's Aunt Shirley - Pray that the doctors will help with her ailments, and that she will continue to be strong. The doctors believe she may have a kidney stone. No kidney stone, although she is on medication for an infection. Pray for continued healing.
Cindy and The Pace Family - We are really excited with what God is doing in the Pace family. The family has started a new study of the Bible and is really opening eyes has to God's sovereignty and how amazing he is.
Praise for a situation in the Wilburn family. God is awesome in how he works.
