The arts are a great way for children in our community to get connected
and informed about the culture of our area. The Columbia City Ballet is
a great facilitator of this: through their Educational Outreach
program, the local company reaches about 40,000 students annually
through the fall and spring programs.
It is possible for a student or parent to request the performances to
school administration as a field trip, as the productions take place
during school hours. It is also possible for individual families to
attend. At $4 per ticket, this opportunity to experience the arts right
here in our community is a great way to show our children that the arts
are an important part of one's immediate community.
Tickets are available at the door, or in advance at (803) 799 7605.
